Fungi Appreciation Sunday with Andi Aman
After the recent rains, the forest floor is bursting to life – and not just with greenery! Join us for a walk and talk through Banyula Conservation Reserve with local bush regen guru and fungi enthusiast, Andi Aman.
This guided walk will open your eyes to the weird and wonderful world of fungi – from vibrant mushrooms to delicate decomposers. Learn how to spot different species, their role in the ecosystem, and why they're so vital to a healthy forest.
This is also a fantastic opportunity to contribute to citizen science! Any fungi found during the walk will be recorded and added to the growing Banyula species list, helping us build a richer picture of our local biodiversity.
Perfect for nature lovers, curious minds, keen photographers and families. Some fitness is required.
